Work featured in IOP’s retrospective high-impact research
“Variational Hamiltonian simulation for translational invariant systems via classical pre-processing, a work published in 2023 in Quantum Science and Technology by our former PhD student Refik Mansuroglu (now at Universität Wien), with contributions from Timo Eckstein, Ludwig Nützel, and Sam Wilkinson, has been featured in IOP’s retrospective list of high-impact German research, titled “Celebrating the impact of research published through the German transformative agreement in 2023”.
Per IOP, the collection celebrates articles and “the great impact they have achieved in such a short period of time.”
The article, which according to Google Scholar, has been cited over 30 times, investigates techniques to improve the simulation of quantum systems by classically optimizing quantum parametrized circuits.
Congratulations to Refik and the team!
